Construction Time:
Because every item is handcrafted by the Goodtimber craftsmen, construction times will vary. Most items are shipped within 8-10 weeks from date of order (view table below for ship times). Some items such as our GoodTimber (lathed) style beds (excluding the Field & Stream Bear Post Bed) are constructed within 6-8 weeks. We do our best to complete every order within this time frame, but we cannot guarantee precise delivery dates. If you have a specific time frame in which you need your items delivered, please discuss this with us at the time of your order.

Shipping Information:
We ship by Fed Ex, UPS or freight carrier. All items that meet the dimension limits will be shipped by Fed Ex or UPS unless they are part of an order consisting of larger items that must be delivered by freight carrier. Items shipped by freight carrier will be delivered curbside and you will need to be present to sign for and unload the items. Shipping to the lower 48 states only. If you require shipping elsewhere, you will need to contact us for shipping quotes.

Transit Time:
Shipping times average 3-10 business days. Again, we cannot guarantee precise delivery dates. If you have a specific time frame in which you need your items delivered, please discuss this with us at the time of your order.

Delivery Notification:
When shipping by Fed Ex or UPS, we will notify you by email when your order ships. Please be sure to provide a valid email address when placing your order as this is the email address we will send your notification to. Orders shipped by freight carrier will include your contact phone number on the bill of lading. Again, please be sure to provide a valid phone number when placing your order so you can be easily reached to arrange a delivery time.

When Your Order Arrives:
Please inspect your order when it arrives to ensure that all the items are there and that no damage had occured during transit. Please do not sign for items until you are reasonably sure they have arrived in good condition. If you do discover damage, you must note the damage on the bill of lading before signing it. Although damage during transit is rare, please be assured that every item we shipped is covered by insurance and will be repaired or replaced if damage does occur. However, our currant RMA must be complied to. Ask for details.

Large Order Shipments:
Large orders may be shipped more economically than the individual shipping prices listed on the website. In some occasions beds can ship from our facility as soon as 5 business days.  The cabinetry and other items (dressers, nightstands, end tables, etc.) will ship in approximately 8 to 10 weeks. During busy times your order could be held up as long as 12 weeks, we would give notice if this were the case. However, please keep in mind that if you order both cabinetry and beds you will save money by shipping them together at the same time, but if you need your bed shipped out sooner than the rest of your order, we can ship your bed separately at an earlier date. If you are planning on picking your furniture up from our store while you are on vacation from out of town,or you need a precise schedule for delivery, please allow up to 10 to 12 weeks for construction time so we can be more accurate in the timing for the case of an unseen delay.
